I graduated with a degree in Studio Art from Florida State University, and later attended The Portfolio Center in Atlanta, Georgia with a focus on advertising art direction. After a long, award-winning career in advertising, I began focusing full-time on painting. Lessons from my advertising career like “keep it simple” and “less is more” are reflected in my choices of subject and composition. My painting style is impressionistic, avoiding excess detail in favor of loose brushstrokes to capture a feel or mood created by the interaction of light and form. I currently paint from my home studio in Sudbury, Massachusetts.
